Simultaneous Signature and Syndrome Compression

ثبت نشده
چکیده

An important organization for built-in self-test of VLSI circuits uses complete or psuedorandom test input generators followed by output data reduction. Two compression techniques which have been used are polynomial division (signature) and ones counting (syndrome). The simultaneous use of both of these approaches in parallel is investigated. Analytic and enumerative results indicate that the number of error patterns which are missed by both methods is nearly the theoretical minimum. The conclusion extends to signature compression combined with any other counter-based compression method such as Walsh spectral coefficients. Some suggestions for CAD implemented test design are given based on these results.

Assessment of Weighting Functions Used in Oppermann Codes in Polyphase Pulse Compression Radars

Polyphase is a common class of pulse compression waveforms in the radar systems. Oppermann code is one of the used codes with polyphone pattern. After compression, this code has little tolerant against Doppler shift in addition to its high side lobe level. This indicates that the use of Oppermann code is an unsuitable scheme to radars applications. This paper shows that the use of amplitude wei...

Simultaneous Occurrence of Turner Syndrome and Robertsonian Translocation in a Girl with Short Stature: A Case Report

Short stature is an important clinical feature of Turner syndrome (TS). In this report, a girl with short stature suspected to have Turner syndrome underwent cytogenetic analysis, which confirmd Turner syndrome by observing sex chromosomal monosomy using the karyotype test. In addition to Turner syndrome, Robertsonian (ROB) translocation t(13;14) was detected. As recommended by a genetic counse...

The Effect of Simultaneous Superficial and Proprioceptive Stimulations on Dexterity of Educable 6-7 Years Old Children with Down Syndrome

Objectives: Down syndrome is the most common chrosomal disorder in which the fine and gross motor skills due to lack of proper sensory experience are disturbed. The role of dexterity in activity of daily living, interaction with environment and independency is quiet crucial in Down syndrome. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effects of simultaneous application of superfici...

Entrapment of median nerve can be developed at multiple sites along this nerve. One of the compression sites of median nerve is supracondylar area of humerous. Sometimes struther ligament or spur or both of them are the rare cause of entrapment syndrome of the median nerve. Struther ligament or spur can compress ulnar nerve and/or brachial artery. These cases may have median ulnar ner...

The Nutcracker Syndrome: an Underdiagnosed Cause for High Grade Varicocele

Background: The nutcracker syndrome represents a clinical condition caused by compression of the left renal vein (LRV) between the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) and the aorta. One of its manifestations is left-sided varicocele. The aim of this study is to determine the prevalence of nutcracker syndrome in patients with primary and recurrent high grade left-sided varicocele. Methods: Fifty pa...
